NBCDFW News

HEART IT RACES: One of the very first uses for motion picture technology was capturing the allusive, mysterious movements of horses. Artist Susan Rothenberg attempts to catch the speed of those animals -- and other moving forms -- while working in slow motion herself through the medium of painting. See "Susan Rothenberg: Moving in Place" at The Modern in Fort Worth. Open until 5PM.

DOIN' IT FOR THEMSELVES: What's funnier than dudes dressing up as women in sketch comedy? Already hilarious women dressing up as caricatures of themselves in sketch comedy. Marisa Diotalevi and Sherry Etzel rock the wigs in Girls Gone Weird, an R-rated comedy show they created, at Pocket Sandwich Theatre. 7:30PM.

STEAK FOR THE CURE: Not pulling on those tennies for the 3 Day this weekend? You can still join the fight against breast cancer, just by moving a knife and fork at Sullivan's Steakhouse where a scrumptous three-course dinner for $39.95 is available on the Susan Komen menu. The restaurant will donate 13 percent of proceeds from those orders to Susan G. Komen For the Cure. Dine until 11PM.
